About
Francesca Volerich is a British-American artist born in London, England. In the early 2000s, her family immigrated to the United States, where she spent her formative years growing up in the suburbs of New Jersey. As she grew up, she found inspiration exploring the vibrant art scene of New York City. These experiences would go on to shape her artistic vision and pursuit of a career in the arts. In 2017, she graduated from the Pratt Institute, where she received both a Bachelor of Fine Art and Master of Science degree, specializing in Art and Design Education.
Francesca's body of work reflects her natural curiosity and desire to understand the complexities of life as a young woman and a passion for exploring the real and digital world around her. Her work is often inspired by the blending of art history with contemporary issues. Through humor and cynicism, she's able to create a unique commentary on how past and present intersect. Her work aims to make people reflect on the cyclical nature of human experiences and societal challenges.
